First Vice Pressident Montgomery County Democratic Committee Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Biographic Sketch Nora grew up in a politically active household in Northeast Philadelphia, where her father was a Philadelphia City Councilman in the early 1960's. She became active in Montgomery County Democratic politics in the early 1990's when she became a Committee Person in Narberth. She has been chair of the Democratic Committee of Lower Merion and Narberth since 1997 and was elected in June of 2002 as First Vice Chair of the Democratic Committee of Montgomery County. She ran for Narberth Borough Council in 1995 and has been active in local political campaigns including the State Representative and State Senate campaigns of State Senator Connie Williams. In 2000, she chaired the successful re-election campaign of Congressman Joe Hoeffel and in 2001 she chaired the Barbara J. Holland for Judge campaign. Nora is a 1983 graduate of LaSalle University and a 1986 graduate of Villanova University School of Law.
