The Hon Shinae Chun
ICAS Fellow
Dear Friend:
We are pleased to share with you that The Hon Shinae Chun (Chun, Shinae) has been named
ICAS Fellow , effective
immediately.
Shinae is presently Director of Women's Bureau, U S Department of Labor and a frequent visitor to
ICAS. She also graciously endowed the "Shinae Chun Award for Excellence"
in 2005 as an integral part of the "ICAS Youth Excellence Fellowship
Awards" for "those youngsters who demonstrate achievements with high distinction
in community involvement, leadership roles, public affairs and volunteering".
Most recently, Shinae won "The 14th Korean Overseas Compatriots Prize 2006" which was
sponsored by the Korean Broad Service (KBS), a leading Korea's Public Service Broadcaster.
