Dear Friend: Lawrence R. Klein, ICAS Distinguished Fellow, passed away yesterday, October 20th, at his home in Gladwyne, Pennsylvania. He was 93. Larry is survived by his wife Sonia, and his three daughters Hannah Klein, Rebecca Klein Kennedy, and Rachel Klein, a son Jonathan, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Larry was awarded Nobel Prize in economic science in 1980. He was a teacher and a life mentor to many of us, and his last lecture before the ICAS audience was at the ICAS 2008 Spring Symposium on Capitol Hill, Washington DC. RIP
