We are pleased to share with you that Hesung Chun Koh will deliver a plenary address for the subject program.

Hesung Chun Koh is the Chair and President of East Rock Institute and the Director Emerita of Research and Development, and of East Asian Area Research, HRAF of Yale University. Dr. Koh has taught at Yale Law School, Yale University, Boston University and Albertus Magnus College. She was also a Visiting Professor at the National Museum of Ethnology, Osaka, Japan (1979-80, 1997-8) and most recently at the International Research Center for Japanese Studies, Kyoto, Japan (1998-99). She is the author or editor of five books and numerous articles on various aspects of Korean culture, society and women, information system and comparative culture research. In addition to numerous achievements, she has also given a lifetime of personal support to church, ecumenical, educational and social services.
