We are pleased to share with you that Gen Paul J LaCamera will address the virtual ICAS Summer Symposium Veritas on July 31 2024 700 PM - 745 PM EDT Washington DC.

General Paul J. LaCamera assumed command of United Nations Command, ROK-U.S. Combined Forces Command, and United States Forces Korea (UNC/CFC/USFK) on July 2, 2021. A native of Westwood, MA, General LaCamera commissioned as an Infantry Officer from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1985. His education includes a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Military Academy and a Master of Arts degree from the U.S. Naval War College.

Prior to his current assignment, General LaCamera was the Commanding General of the United States Army’s largest Service Component Command, U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC), headquartered at Fort Shafter, Hawaii, with portions of the command forward-deployed and based throughout the Indo-Pacific. During his 39 years of service, General LaCamera has had the honor of leading and serving with members of all military services, inter-agency colleagues, and coalition partners from platoon through corps, and a combined joint task force. General LaCamera’s past assignments include: the 82d Airborne Division, XVIII Airborne Corps, U.S. Army Special Operations Command, and Joint Special Operations Command at Fort Liberty, North Carolina; 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, Hunter Army Airfield, Georgia; 4th Ranger Training Battalion, 3d Ranger Battalion and the 75th Ranger Regiment at Fort Moore, Georgia; 2d Ranger Battalion, Fort Lewis, Washington; 2d Infantry Division, Eighth United States Army, Republic of Korea; 10th Mountain Division (Light), Fort Drum, New York; 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colorado; Office of Security Cooperation, Baghdad, Iraq; 25th Infantry Division, and U.S. Army Pacific, Hawaii. General LaCamera has participated in numerous contingency operations including: Operation JUST CAUSE in Panama; Operation UPHOLD DEMOCRACY in Haiti; Operation ANACONDA in Afghanistan; and multiple deployments in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM in Afghanistan, Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, Operation NEW DAWN, and Operation INHERENT RESOLVE in Iraq and Syria.

Gen LaCamera spoke before the ICAS audience at the ICAS Fall Symposium Special 2022 (ICAS Discourse with GEN Paul LaCamera).
