William King IV
US Army Brigadier General (retired) William King is the Chairman of NDIA’s CBRN Division, Chairman of the CBRNE Industry Group, and a Senior Fellow and Principal/Director at Booz Allen Hamilton. Informed by more than 30 years of uniformed experience, including as the Commanding General of the US Army’s 20th Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE) Command, William King is a strategic advisor and planner who directly supports U.S. Federal Departments and NATO’s role in weapons of mass destruction (WMD) non-proliferation, analyzing global threat trends to provide recommendations on future capabilities to senior political and military leaders. William serves as a chairman, training facilitator, and moderator for national and international conferences and events. These events welcome the highest US and international decision makers and subject matter experts in CBRNE, Counter – Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED), and Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD), to facilitate collaboration across the public and private sectors and employment of the newest technologies to counter CBRNE threats globally and within the Alliance’s environment. His expertise, honed through a series of multi-echelon capability and leadership positions, has prepared him to tackle the nation’s most complex challenges. He is a high decorated Officer, known luminary, and published author. He is widely recognized for his breadth of knowledge, experience, and depth of understanding of CWMD and National Security challenges. He is skilled at addressing complex problems, is intellectually agile, and is a recognized leader who inspires others and builds teams with ease.
