G. Cameron Hurst III Honoured

March 27, 2010, Philadelphia, PA. We are pleased to share with you that G. Cameron "Cappy" Hurst III, ICAS Fellow, was honoured today at the University of Pennsylvania Reception held at University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.

Cappy (Hurst III, G. Cameron), Professor of Japanese and Korean Studies, University of Pennsylvania, recently retired and he was the founding Director of its Center for East Asian Studies.

Also honoured were Professor Emeritus F Hilary Conroy and Professors Emeriti Ludo Rocher and Rosane Rocher.

The Reception was dedicated in celebration of their lifetime academic pursuit of excellence and their monumental contributions to the discipline of Asian Studies.
