Douglas C. Anderson
Douglas C. Anderson is double-hatted
as Counsel to the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on International Relations
and its Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific, where works on Asia regional issues
for full Committee Chairman Henry J. Hyde (R-IL) and Subcommittee Chairman James
A. Leach (R-IA). Previously, Doug served as Counsel to the House Subcommittee on
International Operations and Human Rights during the chairmanship of Rep. Christopher
Smith (R-NJ). A graduate of the College and the Law School of the University of
Chicago, he worked as a litigator at a large firm in Phoenix, Arizona before contriving
his (so far) successful escape from private legal practice over a decade ago. Doug
and his wife Rebecca, a native of Seoul, Korea, live in Alexandria, Virginia with
their four children.
